La descripción tal vez dé lugar a confunsión. El funcionamiento es como sigue. Si se pierde la conexión bluetooth, suena una alarma en la aplicación del móvil, y el dispositivo emite un pitido intermitente. Se puede activar en el móvil la alarma del dipositivo, y emite ese pitido (para poder localizarlo). Como inconvenientes veo que hay que alejarse mucho, hasta que se detecte la desconexión bluetooth, y quizás esto podía permitir configurarlo, para que se active la alarma a poca distancia; y que la señal acústica del aparato es poco sonora para mi gusto. Y entiendo que no incorpora GPS, simplemente te da la última posición de tu teléfono una vez que se pierde la conexión bluetooth (creo que en eso consiste).
